《摩斯探长第四季》剧情介绍：Morse finds himself at the center of a murder inquiry after his friend, Beryl Newsome, is tragically killed during a rehearsal of "The Magic Flute." His imprudent contact with the murder weapon leads to his suspension. DCI Bottomley, with DS Lewis by his side, takes over the investigation. Morse suspects a setup and delves into his past, seeking clues among the numerous criminals he has apprehended, to identify who might be seeking retribution. When masonic symbols are scratched across his vehicle and he is flagged for erratic driving, Morse begins to suspect a connection to the Masons. Subsequently, when a trove of his personal belongings is discovered in Beryl's apartment, Morse is taken into custody.
